Dr Robert Melamede
Dr. Melamede has a Ph.D. in Molecular Biology and Biochemistry from the City University of New York. Dr. Melamede retired as Chairman of the Biology Department at University of Colorado, Colorado Springs in 2005, where he continued to teach until his retirement from the University in 2014, when he also retired from the public company Cannabis Science. Dr. Melamede is recognized as a leading authority on the therapeutic uses of cannabinoids and DNA repair. He has authored and co-authored dozens of papers on a wide variety of scientific subjects and is a leading Doctor in understanding the effect of Cannabis on cancer.
